Jeden z obrázků výše je fotografie a ten druhý je 3d render, vytvořený programem za použití našich světelných informací ze skeneru.

Z pokročilého nastavení skeneru jsme schopni dopočítat 3d informace ke tvorbě iluze vrstev kvaše a barvy na plátně. Tato informace vytváří tzv. normálové mapy. Zde vidíte, jak vypadá taková informace:

Illusion or reality?

One of the images above is a photo and the other one is a 3d render. It was made using the lightning information from the ArtScanner.

From the advanced scanning, we were able to compute the 3D information to create an illusion of the actual gouache blobs on the painting. The information creates a so-called normal map. Here is how that information looks like:
